OUR
|
Our mission at Friends of Puerto Vallarta Animals is to passionately support the well-being of homeless pets housed in the municipally run shelter. Since our founding in 2013, we've dedicated ourselves to this cause, working alongside the shelter's exceptional veterinarians and caretakers. Through our commitment to providing food and medicine, funded solely by donations, we ensure these animals receive the care they deserve. Together, we strive to transform today's strays into tomorrow's cherished pets, fostering a brighter future for both animals and our community. |
ABOUT US
Friends of Puerto Vallarta Animals is a group of dedicated and passionate volunteers who are committed to the well-being of the homeless pets staying at the municipally run shelter. The shelter is staffed by fabulous veterinarians and caretakers who work hard every day to ensure each animal’s basic needs are met.
We rely strictly on donations to provide food and medicine to the animals in the care of the shelter. Donations of supplies or in the form of cash are much appreciated. Please review our How to Help section below for details on how to get involved. |

FOSTER or ADOPT...
Sometimes a shelter environment is not the best place for very young or sick and injured animals. Consider helping a vulnerable or special needs pet to get the special attention and care they deserve. Foster homes are always needed in the Puerto Vallarta area as well as in the Edmonton area. Please submit a Foster Application Form.

ADOPT-A-THONSEvery so often we bring some of these lovable animals to more public places like near the Malecon to make it easier for everyone to see and meet them, and learn more about what we do.
